On this page I thought I would list some of the web sites that I like and also some that I find very useful.

The Open University Environment Page - this is very useful for green issue. I learnt a huge amount about recycling from taking their "Are You A Good Sort?" test. It certainly has changed the way I think about rubbish and now recycle as much as I can. Have a go yourself and see how much you learn!
On the same subject, take a look at the Recycle for London web site.

One of the issues that I care a great deal about is the homeless. I am an avid supporter of Crisis and have worked with them in the past.

As I have mentioned on my hamster pages, I recently discovered an organisation that does an important job in offering a home to old, sick and un-wanted hamsters. Click here to visit their web site.

The official site of The Sherlock Holmes Society of London. I used to be a member (many years ago) and still keep up with what the members are still up to. Like some of them, I have also been to the Reichenbach Falls in.Switzerland, where Holmes battled with Professor Moriarty. There is also, of course, my own Sherlock Holmes pages!

When I was much younger, I was a big fan of the TV programme from the 1970"s and 80"s "It"s A Knockout" and the European heats "Jeux Sans Frontiers". I have recently discovered a couple of really good web sites about this.
JSFnetUK which is part of a European web-ring and It"s A Knockout.
