The Genie out of the Lamp

Welcome to my little corner of the web!
My name is Sarah-Jane Gray and this site is about me.

I have called my site The Genie out of The Lamp as I feel that over the last few years I have learnt to create the life for myself that I have always wanted. I have done this thanks to the knowledge I have learnt from many wonderful people and the work I have done (see my page on personal development). One thing is I do now feel that I can create anything I want in my life, no matter how hopeless it may seem at times. One of the things that I find really helps (particularly to inspire me) is music and like Ally McBeal (for those of you that watched the TV series), I too have a theme song which is very special to me.

There is also a section about our hamsters. Each of them have their own page on my site, which allows me to publish pictures of them and now also video. I will be expanding this area and hope to be able to create lots of interesting pages about hammies as they are such wonderful animals.

I am a passionate supporter of the organizations and teams that I have indicated on the right of this page. Please click on each of them to visit their web sites.

I am adding new parts to the website all the time. As I am designing the software for the features myself (as I am an experienced IT Consultant), they will be available as just as soon as I have completed them!

In the meantime, please feel free to look around my web site and if you have any comments or suggestions, please send me an email or leave your comments by signing my guest book.

You can also follow me on the British Tech Network BIG show as I am a regular guest. The show is live on Thursdays at 8pm UK time. Ewen and guests take a not-so-serious look at the weeks tech news.

Details of my tips on the show can be found on my British Tech Network Big show page.

  • Crisis, the homeless charity
  • Butterfly Conservation
  • QPR logo
  • My baseball tram, the Boston Red Sox
Blog logo (quill pen and paper) There is nothing I like more than a good discussion (as, I am sure, most of my friends would agree)! This is my little part of the web for explaining what is on my mind and airing my views on a variety of different current subjects.
OJ These pages are all about the hamsters that have, and do, share my life. They are great fun and they provide me with a great deal of enjoyment. I hope to provide them with a good environment in which to live.
Sherlock Holmes I first discovered Sir Arthur Conan Doyle"s famous character when I was at school and have been a fan ever since. I also love the Victorian era and reading to the stories or watching the films, is like taking a step back into the past!
Search for the Hero Everyone has one song that means more to them than any other and this is mine!
M People seem obviously know how to write inspirational songs and this song has had a profound effect on my life.
